BabyOuts - Our Money Refund Policy
At BabyOuts, our relentless pursuit is to place the highest quality soft toys into your arms. As articulated in our Return Policy, our primary and preferred resolution for any damaged or defective item is a Free Replacement. We believe in fixing the joy, not just the transaction.
However, we acknowledge that reality is occasionally imperfect.
There are specific, narrow circumstances where a replacement is impossible, and a monetary refund becomes the necessary solution.
1. When is a Refund Applicable?
We do not issue refunds lightly. We offer fiscal reimbursement exclusively in the following two divergent scenarios:
A. The Inventory Void (Item Out of Stock)
If your return claim is approved - validated, of course, by that mandatory, non-negotiable unboxing video - but we find ourselves in a bind where we cannot provide a replacement because the specific item is out of stock, we will concede. In this instance, because we cannot fulfill our promise of a toy, we will initiate a full refund.
B. The Pre-Emptive Cancellation
Timing is everything.
- Before Dispatch: If you request a cancellation before the order has physically departed our warehouse, we will honor it and refund the full amount.
- The Point of No Return: Please note: once the order has been dispatched and is in the hands of the courier, it cannot be cancelled. At that stage, no refund will be issued. The journey has begun.
2. The Mechanics of Reversal (Timeline)
Once a refund is officially approved, the digital machinery begins to turn.
- Notification: You will receive an immediate confirmation via email.
- The Method: The refund will be processed directly back to your original method of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, etc.). We reverse the path the money took.
- The Wait: Banking systems have their own rhythm. Please allow 5 - 7 business days for the banking institutions to complete the handshake and for the amount to visibly reflect in your account.
3. The Rule of Sale Items
Clarity is crucial here. Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds (and only in the rare event of stock unavailability). Sale or clearance items are different. They are purchased under a stricter covenant. These items are considered Final Sale; unfortunately, they cannot be refunded.
